I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, always eager to scribble my ideas down to elaborate and expand upon later.
I grew up studying traditional mediums with my go-to choices being watercolour and graphite illustration. After graduating in 2014, I began my undergrad at the Phoenix Theatre program of UVic, participating in self directed studies of Production Design, Directing, and Playwriting.
My studies expanded from design aesthetics, and my elective courses turned to focus on art analysis and digital arts. At the same time I began dabbling in digital painting and illustration, (still) teaching myself along the way. It was within the Fine Arts program that I found a strong drive to dissect and understand aspects of art and design in the world around me.
I also discovered a love for creating anything I can with what I have available. I'm here to scribble, test ideas, experiment - if only to create something different, and at least learn something new along the way.
I am currently a freelance creator based in BC, Canada.
